OpenAI is preparing to launch the ChatGPT store

OpenAI is preparing to make the GPT Store available to the public next week after delaying its launch from previously announced dates.

The GPT Store allows customers to sell or share custom AI bots with ChatGPT bot users, which are built based on large language models developed by OpenAI.

According to an email the company sent to developers registered with the store, they will need to double-check that their GPT bots are compliant with the company's guidelines and policies, and make some simple settings changes before launching the store next week.

The official spokesman said that the company will reveal more details next week, without indicating the launch dates of the store in different countries, and whether the company intends to make it available to all users at once or gradually, as it did last year with the ChatGPT robot.

OpenAI had announced the GPT Store for the first time at its developer conference last November, and the store was initially supposed to launch in the same month, but the company postponed the launch due to the dismissal of CEO Sam Altman - which caused turmoil within the company. -Then reset it again.
The store will only be available to subscribers of the paid version of “ChatGPT Plus” as well as enterprises. While OpenAI itself makes its custom bots available through the Explore tab in ChatGPT Plus, the store will allow custom bots submitted by customers to be sold, shared, and monetized based on their usage rates without disclosing how that process works.
